Vocabulary, idioms, synonyms etc. collectively are of approximately 50–55 marks in SSC CGL. Also, Do not forget to revise. Revise everyday. Learn 20 new words and revise 100 old words. This activity will easily consume 1–2 hours daily. Make your schedule and stick to it no matter what. I'd advise you to learn approximately 4000 words and 900 idioms to do well in exam. Although, this number varies quite a lot. My friend learnt only 1500–1700 new words and did pretty good in CGL 2017, whereas my other acquaintance learnt 3500 new words and even then didn't do well in either TIER of CGL. So be smart and don't learn too difficult/uncommon words.
