EDIT.PDFPen does indeed have OCR in the latest version (possibly previous ones too). I tend to not use OCR but there you go, you get ALL the features of Add Text To Pdf.online in a much cheaper package and plus the interface is actually built for OS X and the application starts up at least 2x faster. you can do all of the tasks that you listed although quite a few would require that you create a new temporary file via copy & paste and then using the same technique move pages etc. So yeah the free solution is very lengthy and annoying at times. However, if you are willing to spend money there is PDF Pen. It does everything that Add Text To Pdf.online does and costs a fraction of the price. Ok that's not quite true because things like OCR are not there but all the basic editing features are. There is a pro version too which costs almost double the regular licence ( regular is $60 pro - $100). All the features that you asked for are included in the regular version
