I think Chris Wallace’s treatment of Stephen Miller is what we have come to expect from him. It didn’t go quite as well with Miller, who has strong points to make, and got most of them across. It was a good match, actually - Wallace was not able to score points he wanted to make, as Miller plowed ahead to complete his statements. A less strong spokesman than Miller might have caved when Wallace butted into answers. Chris Wallace continues to baffle me. After years of seeming to be a fair, middle of the road interviewer, he’s suddenly become left-leaning - and I’m not certain that’s a popular change for him - considering the flack he’s getting.
